Commercial photography is one of the fast growing areas of our studio right now! It makes considering most of our clients are professionals (doctors, dentists, lawyers) or own a small business. To combat the recession and stand out from their competitors, everyone seems to be updating their websites and marketing materials! We just finished the first phase of images for HST Construction in Bellevue, WA. The owners wanted to show some of their completed projects and feature them on a new website that is currently being built. Phase 2 will be a staff portrait and headshots for all of the employees. Take a look at some of the images below:

Here is an overall lobby shot for Polycom.

Here is one that comes in a little tighter, they really wanted to show off the unique nature of this lobby.

Switching gears a little bit, here is the for Proliance Surgeons main office in Seattle, WA.

HST Construction also specializes in corporate boardrooms

And lastly, a lot of their clients are having them build custom kitchen spaces for their employees.

Look for these images to be featured on HST's new website: www.hstconstruction.com very soon! We put together a slideshow of the entire project for them, see it below!

The Surprise “Paparazzi” Engagement Photography Session for Ben and Nita!

 engagement photography

I’ve had the opportunity to be a part of my client’s lives for almost 30 years now. Whether it’s capturing the first year of a baby’s life with our first year baby photography plan, a high school senior’s graduation portraits, the first “official” family portrait for the wall, or the wedding day of 2 special people, being my client’s go to photographer has been an honor. In many ways I’m more of a “Lifeographer” for my clients.

But every once and I while I’m called upon to capture a moment not typically documented in photographic art often. I’m talking about the exact second that a man proposes to his future wife!

Meet Ben and Nita, new clients of mine that I met a few months ago. Ben is a college student and was coming home for the Easter holiday and decided that now was the time to propose to his girlfriend Nita. Nita of course had no idea and Ben told her that he wanted some photographs of the 2 of them just for fun. Little did Nita know that Ben had been planning this special surprise with me for months.

At some point during the session I started to do some photographs of just Nita (for her parents, Ben and I said). I had her looking away out towards the water and when she turned around Ben was down on one knee!

Ben and Nita are a great couple and I was excited to be a part of their special day! The rest of the session was a true engagement session after that!

Congrats you two and thanks for letting me be a part of it! Check out more of their session on our Facebook Page!

Meet Roxie and Brian, I just photographed their wedding a few weeks ago in Cheyenne, WY. So how does a Seattle wedding photographer get a gig like this in Wyoming? Roxie's aunt and family have been good clients of mine for over 20 years. I photographed her aunt's senior portraits and then her wedding a few years later. I was also commissioned to photograph some family portraits at her great aunt's home outside of Portland, OR. Needless to say, I get around with this family!

This country themed wedding actually took place at a nice resort in the city!
